Clark Pest Control Sponsors the 2010 Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Bike-A-Thon
(PRWEB) January 25, 2010 -- Clark Pest Control is proud to announce that they will be participating in the 8th Annual Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Bike-A-Thon for the second consecutive year. Clark Pest Control will be one of the general event sponsors and a team from the San Diego Pest Control (http://www.clarkpest.com/branch_office_san_diego.html) office will be participating in the YMCA Bike-A-Thon (http://www.ecke.ymca.org/giving-.html).

In addition to their general sponsorship, Clark donated 500 water bottles the event. San Diego Branch Manager, Ian Clark, will be participating in the Bike-A-Thon with a team of Clark employees. The Bike-A-Thon is a twelve hour cycling event to be held from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Saturday, January 30, 2010. Thirty teams and more than one hundred fifty participants will be spinning in order to raise money for the YMCA's Annual Giving Campaign.
All proceeds from the event will benefit children, families and seniors in need in of financial aid in order to access YMCA programs. The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA has offered YMCA memberships to local community members, regardless of their ability to pay for more than 40 years. Last year alone, the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA was able to provide financial assistance to more than 2,200 children, seniors and families.

The Bike-A-Thon will also include live and silent auctions, as well as program demonstrations that are sure to make it a fun and lively event.
